The Sorong Fisheries Academy is the Indonesian co-founder organisation at local level.
It is an educational institution under the authority of the Indonesian Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. It allows young students to prepare, in particular, for a career in the merchant navy, in the fishing or aquaculture industry, or in the preservation of coastal areas and aquatic environments.
